"We recently had the pleasure of attending a survival course led by Clarise, who is a truly outstanding instructor. My stepdaughter Emma, who is eleven, and I (at 48) spent an incredible day learning a whole range of essential bushcraft skills. Clarise covered everything from making a fire to building a shelter, tying knots, and even creative ways to source drinkable water from a vehicle in an emergency. We even built a raft together, which was a lot of fun and a great team experience.

Clarise made sure the entire day was well thought out and full of practical, hands-on learning. It was clear she put a lot of care into making sure we felt both challenged and safe. Emma absolutely loved it and came away feeling more confident and capable.

"An Incredible and Highly Recommended Survival Course with Clarise & Live Ready! My experience on Clarise's survival course was nothing short of fantastic. I give it 5 stars!

Clarise is a world-class instructor with a wealth of experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and she shared her real-world experiences, making the lessons feel grounded and practical. She explained complex concepts with ease and patience, making sure everyone, regardless of their prior experience, could follow along and practice new skills. Her passion for the wilderness was truly inspiring. The extreme weather conditions made the learning experience so much more intense and thrilling. The course was jam-packed with hands-on activities. We spent time learning how to build a proper shelter in a Level 9 storm being pelted with rain and wind. This seriously highlighted the need for shelter. Using natural materials and flint we learned how to successfully build a fire in 7 different ways, even in wet conditions. The practical application of every course subject was crucial for building confidence.The setting was an ideal classroom. We were able to learn mountain foraging skills and experienced the local natural environment, which made the entire experience feel authentic and immersive.

The course covered a comprehensive range of subjects, from water purification to basic first aid, and was structured in a logical and easy-to-digest manner. Experiencing hypothermia while learning how to deal with it was intense and really brought the lessons home!

Unfortunately due to the high intensity storm and spending more time to practically apply the survival skills we were being taught, we didn't have the time, and it was too dangerous to do the coastal foraging and raft building. We look forward to doing another course to include these skills.I would highly recommend this course to anyone, from beginners to experienced outdoor enthusiasts. The lessons learned were invaluable and applicable not just in a survival situation, but also for generally living in a more conscious and integrative fashion with nature.
